Sandy joined Nexa Law in 2021 to work as a Consultant specialising in Family work.

​

Sandy has over 20 years’ experience in advising and assisting clients through what is very often a difficult time in their lives following a relationship breakdown.  Sandy seeks to achieve the best possible outcome for the client not only in terms of the financial settlement but also an outcome that is tailor made to the client and very often the family as a whole.

​

Sandy deals mainly with matrimonial finances and also private child law matters.  She is a member of the Law Society’s Advanced Family Law Panel and a longstanding member of Resolution.  She is also Collaboratively trained and is committed to the process as an alternative to long drawn out negotiations between solicitors or expensive Court proceedings.

​

Sandy trained at a law firm in Chester before qualifying in 2000. She then moved to a firm in Shropshire in 2001 where she jointly headed up the Family department before taking up a role at Aaron & Partners LLP in 2014 where she became a partner in 2018. Sandy made the decision to become a Consultant to achieve a better work life balance and also to be able to concentrate on her collaborative work.

During her career Sandy has acted for many local business owners and farming clients who can benefit hugely from this process.

​

When not at work, Sandy has a busy family life with two boys.  She and her husband also renovate old properties in their spare time, currently working on their seventh project which is 1950’s property which had had “one owner from new”.
